"Lou Tullio: A Real Erie Guy."

Our presenter for this evening is Cory Vaillancourt, he was born in Illinois and arrived in Erie by the way of Nevada and Georgia. Cory is a freelance writer and after graduating from the University of Chicago where he focused on the history of Soviet Russia, he spent more than a decade as a political campaign consultant working for Republican and Democratic candidates across the country.

Upon moving to Erie, Vaillancourt joined the Erie Reader – first as a contributor, then later as a contributing editor and editor-at-large.

Cory Vaillancourt has written a book about Louis Tullio called, "Lou Tullio: A Real Erie Guy."

Published by the Jefferson Educational Society, the book offers a revealing look at the life and times of one of the most significant and heavily mythologized politicians in the history of Erie.

Cory did extensive research, and numerous interviews of the people who lived and worked with the mayor.

Please join us on March 9, 2016 at 6:00 pm, for our pre-dinner cocktail and chat time and remember to bring your friends and acquaintances. Reservations are required.
