Our presenter for this evening is Cory Vaillancourt, he was born in Illinois and arrived in Erie by the way of Nevada and Georgia. Upon moving to Erie, Vaillancourt joined the Erie Reader – first as a contributor, then later as a contributing editor and editor-at-large.

Cory Vaillancourt has written a book about Louis Tullio called, "Lou Tullio: A Real Erie Guy."

Published by the Jefferson Educational Society, the book offers a revealing look at the life and times of one of the most significant and heavily mythologized politicians in the history of Erie.

Cory did extensive research, and numerous interviews of the people who lived and worked with the mayor.
