Our presenter for this evening is will be one of our own members, Richard E. Buys, Retired Lt. Col USAF.
His program title is: "The Great War at Sea". The topic will cover events and actions in the 19th Century and early 20th Century which led up to, and may have contributed to, the war which started in August 1914.
Although America only entered the war after it had raged on for two and a half years, her industry here in Erie had provided support to the Allies in the early years.
