Due to scheduling conflicts with the Jefferson Global Summit Our November Meeting has been moved to Tuesday November the 5th. It will be at the Erie Yacht Club
This month's meeting will be held at the Erie Yacht Club and begin at 6:00 pm with a social hour and dinner, followed by our program/speaker.

Melinda Myer, B.A. History, MBA, Program Director Erie Arts and Culture
Melinda is the Program Director for Erie Arts & Culture and an adjunct faculty member of the History Department at Mercyhurst University. Ms. Meyer has a B.A. in History from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College and a Master of Business Administration from Gannon University. She has worked with and served the heritage and arts communities of Northwestern Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years. She is experienced as an historian, educator, project consultant, grant writer and nonprofit administrator.
As a public historian, Ms. Meyer speaks frequently on the history of Erie County and consistently pursues avenues to share local history with all audiences. She has experience developing public programming and walking and driving tours, collecting oral histories, designing and installing exhibitions and wayside interpretive signage, publishing, and coordinating special events like festivals and symposiums. Ms. Meyer has also taught museum studies and historic preservation undergraduate courses
