We continue to meet at the Erie Yacht Club. We will be in the lower level dining area for the next few meetings. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with a social hour and dinner, followed by our program/speaker.

Our Dinner Menu:
We will have the choice of two entrees: Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry with mixed vegetables and rice - OR - Teriyaki Beef Tips Stir Fry with mixed vegetables and rice, Romaine Salad with Mandarin Oranges, Peppers, Almonds and Chow Mein Noodles with an Asian Sesame Dressing, Rolls, Butter, Coffee, and Fried Bananas over Vanilla Ice Cream.

Our Guest Speaker:
Mark Becker
Our guest speaker is Mark Becker, an Erie native who enlisted in the US Army in 1975 following graduation from Cathedral Prep, class of '74. Originally assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division, Mark was nominated and admitted to West Point, class of '80. In 1987 Mark became a Green Beret, spending the next 17 years with Special Operations forces in the US, Europe, Asia and 2 combat tours in Afghanistan. Recipient of the Bronze Star Medal during his last deployment in Afghanistan, Mark then retired from active duty. Post military career Mark worked as a federal employee supporting the Special Forces Operations. Mark holds a law degree from Wake Forest University passing the bar exams in both North Caroline and Florida. In 2021 Mark finally returned to Erie PA after a 46-year hiatus.
