We continue to meet at the Erie Yacht Club. We will be in the lower level dining area for the next few meetings. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with a social hour and dinner, followed by our program/speaker.

Our Dinner Menu:
Our dinner will be the choice of two entrees: Adobo the res (Mexican) - (Beef Marinade) Round eye cooked in a sauce made with dry peppers, oregano, garlic, cloves, and salt, topped with freshly sliced onions, rice and potatoes (mild not too spicy), or Pollo con Salsa Francesa (French with a Mexican Twist) - Chicken with Mornay Sauce - Breaded chicken breast served with classic French Mornay Sauce with very fine chopped chile serrano. Rice and Fresh Vegetables Medley, tossed salad with Dry Fruit, walnuts, cucumbers and tomatoes, dressings, rolls & butter, Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe Cake and coffee.

Victoria graduated valedictorian from Fort LeBoeuf High School and went to Mercyhurst College earning a BA in Chemistry with summa cum laude distinction. Her career spanned from teaching and Assistant Principal at Mercyhurst Prep to GE and with her husband operated their rental business, Brogdon Real Estate. See details below for more.

<p>How 70 Men from GE Erie Helped the Russians During WWII: A Story of the Iranian State Railway and the Lend-Lease Program.</p> <p> </p> <p>BIO: Victoria Brogdon grew up in Waterford, PA. She graduated valedictorian from Fort LeBoeuf High School and went to Mercyhurst College earning a BA in Chemistry with summa cum laude distinction. She and her husband, Deacon Richard Brogdon, both retired from GE and operated their rental business, Brogdon Real Estate. At GE she was an EHSTA (Environmental, Health and Safety Technical Advisor) and a buyer for Indirect Sourcing. Before working at GE, Victoria taught Chemistry and other high school STEM subjects at Mercyhurst Preparatory School where she was also Assistant Principal. She is a singer in the Great Lakes Threshold Choir, a group of women who sing bedside for people who are in hospice care. She is also an artist and currently Chairperson of the Lake Erie Fiber Arts Guild. Victoria is a member of the Erie Photography Club and a photographer for Find-a-Grave.com.</p>
