Annual Christmas Meeting

We continue to meet at the Erie Yacht Club. We will be in the lower level dining area for the next few meetings. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with a social hour and dinner, followed by our program/speaker.Our Dinner Menu:
Dinner will be buffet style: Costillitas de Res – Braised Short Ribs (English/French with a Mexican Twist) cooked in a tequila sauce reduction. Mild not too spicy. Pollo al Horno – Baked Chicken (French with a Mexican Twist) – The chicken will be seasoned with achiote seeds. Not spicy. Dinners will be served with vegetables and a starch.Our Guest Speaker:

The Great Lakes Threshold Choir is a local representative of an nternational organization of over 200 choirs that sing bedside for people who are in hospice or otherwise nearing the threshold of life. We are sponsored by UPMC Hamot’s Family Hospice but we sing in small groups of three at the request of any family in need. Please us on December 8, 2022, to learn about the history of threshold singing. We will sing some peaceful songs and demonstrate the comforting “song blanket” we provide. Most of our songs are written by choir members and will be unfamiliar but we will also sing a few songs in honor of December holidays.
