We continue to meet at the Erie Yacht Club. We are back upstairs! Meetings begin at 6:00 pm with a social hour and dinner, followed by our program/speaker.Our Dinner Menu:
Our dinner will be a buffet with a choice of two entrees: Baked Chicken Parmesan - not spicy with a Mexican twist, chile de arbol sauce on the table, or Pork Ribs in a chile cascabel sauce - very mild - not spicy roasted/cooked in the sauce already. Dinners will be served with vegetables and starch, tossed salad with dried fruit, walnuts, cucumbers and tomatoes, dressings, Rolls & Butter. Ye Ole Sweet Shoppe Cake and coffee. Mark Squeglia, BA History, Gannon
Mark is an Erie native, He has spent the majority of his career working in the areas of information technology and marketing for Hammermill Paper, Erie Insurance and General Electric. Squeglia is the board vice president of the Hagen History Center board of directors, and he has been involved in governance, advancement, planning, facilities, and executive committees. He stepped in as the interim executive director between December and June 2022 while taking a leave of absence from the board. Squeglia has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Gannon College and has been involved in the Hagen History Center’s speaker series for several years. He is also a frequent lecturer for the Jefferson Education Society of Erie on historical topics, specializing in military history, specifically World War II. He is also a board member of Torch International’s Erie chapter and a member of the Perry 200 Commission.Topic:
