"Lafayette"

I am a Pittsburgh native and grew up in Butler County . I am a graduate of Allegheny College and hold a MA from George Washington University. I am a retired infantry officer having served 23 years primarily with the First Infantry Division. My interest in history began in grade 4 with my primary interest in the late 18th and early 19th Century American History. As a devotee of Washington, it is natural that I would gradually drift into a study of Lafayette. Currently I am the curator of the Eagle Hotel and Stagecoach Museum in Waterford. I have given talks on topics ranging from D-Day to the Sedition Act of the John Adams administration. My wife Mary Lou and I moved back to Western Pennsylvania after our second retirements where we built a house on a dirt road outside Union City.

Please join us on January 8th, 2025 at 6:00 pm, for our pre-dinner cocktail and chat time and remember to bring your friends and acquaintances. Reservations are required.
